We are passionate in design in general, and also undertake projects in design conceptualisation and development of products.

We are a small team of Passionate, Professional Designers, able to provide very personalised services, as we believe that every project is Unique and requires attention to details. Hi everyone, My name is Ignatius Foo. Thank you for visiting us here on Banamana. At this point, I would like to be a bit informal and share a little more of my experiences with you.  I graduated from LaSalle, College of the Arts in 1995, and received 2 awards, The Design Council Gold Award and The Singapore Furniture Industries Council Award.

I have worked overseas in countries like Germany and China, in the fields of product and exhibition/commercial designs. Since 1999, I have been in private practice, in the residential and commercial retail design sector.

I am very passionate about Design, passionate in the challenges of not only resolving problems with space, but also how to create that aesthetically pleasing environment that suits the lifestyle of my client. The greatest reward for me from my past experiences as an Interior Designer is the privilege of getting to know my clients on a very personal level. This has made my job enjoyable and challenging. I believe that designing a living space for an individual or family is at a very personal level as no 2 individuals are ever alike. I also believe that design cannot be rushed, and duplication does not do justice for the designer or client. 

For the past 11 years in private practice, I have gotten involved in projects big and small, from simple graphic logo designs, to product developments of furniture, to interiors of homes and commercial retail space. Nothing is ever too small for me.

If you look at our world today, design exists at all levels in most everyday objects we use. In the environment we are in, design exists to make our lives more pleasing by coming up with creative solutions to problems. Design should not be seen only as the aesthetics of an interior or object, it involves much more. It doesn't just address the form of the space or object but also their functions. This is the basis of my believe in design and it is summed up in this philosophy of mine..Weaving Originality into Form and Function.
