Malt Vault is a single malt scotch lovers' playground. It is a showcase for some of the world's most sought after single malts - a portfolio of spirit that we like to call THE MOST EXCITING WHISKIES IN THE WORLD - and a place where whisky lovers of all stripes meet to indulge their collective passion for what the Scots call Uisge Beatha, or The Water of Life.
Malt Vault is located in the basement of Screening Room, No. 12 Ann Siang Road, at the cross streets of Ann Siang Road, Ann Siang Hill and Club Street.
What we offer
At Malt Vault we specialize in bringing the best of Scotland to Asia in the form of not only its premium Single Malt Scotch, but also traditional Craft Beers and Real Ales, Whisky Liqueurs, and even Mineral Water bottled at source - the starting point and primary ingredient of all Scotch Whisky. Malt Vault takes pride in being the only establishment in the region representing Scotland's largest privately-held collections of rare Scotch whisky casks from distilleries past and present; collections that comprise literally hundreds of exclusive bottlings highly appraised by whisky experts and enthusiasts alike.
Why we are special
Malt Vault's bottlings of fine single malts have been hand selected from the warehouses of all the major, many lesser-known, and even some extinct distilleries across the whisky regions of Scotland, and matured in quality oak casks. What this means is that while we do carry whiskies from distilleries most may recognize (Macallan, Glenlivet etc...) the expressions of those whiskies are exclusive to Malt Vault and are not available elsewhere else on planet earth. This is because Malt Vault owns the entire cask, or what remains in it, and therefore every drop of most of the whiskies in the Malt Vault portfolio.
Every Friday & Saturday night Malt Vault presents virtuoso performances featuring Singapore’s undisputed top jazz talent LIVE in the VAULT. We are proud to name among the musicians who have graced Malt Vault with their art Tenor Saxophonist and Composer Miss. Nicole Duffel; Jazz Bassist, NUS Music Professor and Conductor Dr. Tony Makarome; Jazz Guitarist and NUS Music Professor Dr. George Hess; Trumpeter Mr. Daniel Wong; Guitarists Mr. Andrew Lim and Mr. Sebastian Ho; Ensemble Andrew Lum & New Asia; and Bassists Mr. Jonathan Ho, Mr. Will Gathright, and Mr. Jase Sng.
Doors open at 6:00, music begins at 9:00 and reservations are recommended.

Malt Vault's whiskies are bottled at full cask strength and in their natural form (non-chill filtered and non-colored), and all bottlings are individually identified with details such as the distillery and region, date distilled and date bottled, cask strength, cask number, and a unique bottle number. These singular malts are the pride of many a whisky enthusiast's personal collection, and make for one-of-a-kind gifts and memorable evenings of company, conversation and connoisseurship when shared among friends.
The unrivaled Malt Vault whisky experience is complimented by the novel five format menu created by local celebrity chef Samia Ahad, served direct from the kitchen of The Screening Room, located just two flights of stairs above. This marriage of rare whisky paired with fine food, and served to strains of purist jazz (live every Friday and Saturday) in the comfort of the most private venue in Singapore comprises a welcome assault on the senses - an experience that you will want to have over, and over again.
